The Story Behind Smart Microns

Smart Microns Pvt. Ltd. is the industrial electroplating division of Smart Creations, established in Chennai in 1998. We provide metal-finishing solutions for components used across aerospace, defence, automotive, electrical and electronics, telecommunications, energy and other industrial applications.

Led by Managing Director Mr. Pankaj Bhandari, our 100+ member team brings together expertise across production, quality, planning, maintenance, finance and customer support. This structured approach ensures accountability at every stage of the plating process.

Supported by a 3,000 sq. ft. facility, controlled inspection systems and R&D associations with CECRI, IGCAR, CFCT–ARCI and IIT Madras Research Centre, we combine hands-on experience with process control and continuous improvement to meet demanding component requirements.

Smart Creations was established, and electroplating operations began with Gold, Silver, Copper and Nickel plating.

Introduced golden dye and lacquering for Copper, Brass, Aluminium and Fibre components.

Achieved ISO 9001 certification.

Introduced the Alkaline Copper Plating line.

Expanded electroplating services for industrial processes and applications.

Introduced the Alkaline Silver Plating line.

Launched the Heavy Deposition Copper Plating line, with coating capability of up to 400 microns.
